Mexico City, September 2018, FIMPE announced the launch of the interconnection service between the Sociedad Financiera Popular (SOFIPO) “Crediclub” and the National Electoral Institute (INE) to validate the voting credential data of its financial users and prevent identity theft or fraud.
This was announced by Gueorgui Nikolov, General Director of FIMPE, when mentioning that Crediclub offers the voting credential data validation service through an interconnection implemented by FIMPE.
“Previously, identity validation required manual processes and man-hours that made the operation impractical, now the process is done automatically and with encryption that prevents vulnerabilities or information leaks.” The executive explained.

It was also explained that FIMPE has invested in the biometric identity authentication market and the interconnection service with the INE, convinced that any company can generate a secure environment by combining these technologies and adopting a digital culture to prevent potential fraud.
